blown away...

so, I am letting dave post tonight but...as of course, a wife always has something to say! As he is downloading pics, I will add just a couple words-as we are sitting in our hotel w/ the very familiar ukrainian disco, pop, wrap playing...eating  a greek salad; Dave--some sort of meat and I have discovered they have french fries!!!!  life is good-

NO doubt, the process of "international adoption" has been trying at best (as you all close to us know)  but, as always, God's blesings have blown us away.  So basically, our day consists of waking up, ordering coffee americano, walking the boardwalk in search of things the kids have asked for or would enjoy (ie shoes, snickers bars, water, coca cola, gum, etc), finding a place to eat lunch (probably the most difficult part of our day where we have to call our interpretor and have her order off the very ukranian menu), then we are off to the orphanage camp. Here we litterally hang and play w/ Stas  and kids of all ages for hours and hours.   No stress of work, crazy busy run arounds, or  real distractions-just living and loving in the moment.  Don't get me wrong, I love America and our kids and our life, but God is certainly working in our attitudes and our hearts here.  In our very distracted lives, I think this was exactly what we needed.  God had it figured out a long time ago...imagine that :)

I am in love...with all these kids.  I told the american kids-no more beach trips-just trips to the sea in Ukraine w/ all our new friends.
Certainly, we have the best situation in our timing in ukraine...it is sunny and 80 degrees everyday...our friends trip to adopt in the upcoming winter months in Ukraine-probably not so good.
